Lake Ridge Elementary School is a fully accredited school of 520 students in grades K-5. We're a nine-time Prince William County School of Excellence awardee. We are proud of our French Program and of having achieved AYP. We're a friendly community and we love our students!
Field Day and Jump Rope for Heart
Recently, LRES held a Field Day that incorporated Jump Rope For Heart. We had excellent participation from the entire school and community and wanted to express our thanks. We raised a grand total of $1909.37 for the American Heart Association. We would like to send special recognition to the following students and their families for the donations they raised for this wonderful cause : David D. raised $515, Aidan C. raised $105, Jonathan B. raised $100 and Christian B. raised $85. These students were rewarded with special medals and badges for their extraordinary efforts.
We'd like to thank everyone for your support of this event. We look forward to next year and have set a goal to raise even more money for this wonderful organization and cause.
